So the reface has officially began! I know i'm posting back to back, but i want to keep the project pictures seperate =)
So we went with Sears...they had the best presentation, guarantees, customer service, policies, product and about a middle of the road quote. Not to mention the $1500 gift card we got to buy all new appliances with them! We are due to get them in about two weeks, when this project should be done!
So we have Ray, who is our contractor working on our kitchen solo. Man, he's a talker...but I think he will do a great job! He didn't do much or deconstruction, but a lot of putting together and inventory. So here's some pictures of what he did, besides the conversation of us going into detail what is going to happen so there is no confusion.
The whole kitchen...after he undid and checked all my cabinet doors, he laid down the boxes to protect my floors...
Behind their already horrible stove was more NASTYNESS!! Even a spoon down there! I don't think they ever cleaned down there. How do you eat out of this place...GROSS!!
Moved the fridge out of the way...
Loaded my garage with lots of "stuff"
Including the new boxes for the drawers he put together and my shelves with hinges!
I also gained a trailer to sit in my driveway a few days.
So progress today isn't much, but tomorrow the real destruction starts! I can't wait for the complete transformation!
Bobby, my dog, doesn't like the cardboard on the floors, or the idea of the loud noises from the machinery. But he's being a trooper about it!
